I'm sure everyone has already heard but Hilary was confirmed the Secretary of State yesterday by a vote of 94-2 in the Senate. That is a great vote of approval. I'm very pleased with her new role as our Secretary of State. I worry a little with a woman being in such a high international position because women around the world are not seen as equals and not every political leader will respect her the way she deserves, but, she is just the woman for the job. She is strong, confident and powerful and I think she'll do a great job with international relations and she's also married to Bill, who was very respected in the international community. Who knows, maybe she'll have an influence to improve the equality of women worldwide!
