It's All About Who You Know

Have you ever heard, "it's not about what you know but who you know?" Well, as much as I'd like to say that's not true, it is. In a lot of my travels I have gone to visit people living in those locations, I rarely stay in hotels. I have been lucky enough to make friends from all around the world and therefore, have places to stay when I travel. If you meet people from around the world and you get along with them, keep in touch. You never know when you might want to make a trip somewhere exotic and having a free place to stay is a nice way to save some money. Obviously, I wouldn't recommend keeping in touch with people you don't like because if you want a place to stay you will want to enjoy your visit but it's worth it to go through the hassles of staying in touch. Life is busy and gets hard to stay in touch with people sometimes but fostering those relationships makes traveling cheaper and more fun when you have a friend to go see. If you meet cool people along the way, stay in touch!!
